I gotta let this all out..
I UNDERSTAND WHAT MY MOM MEANT WHEN SHE SAID

I GET HER AND I KNOW THAT SHE IS JUST WARNING ME FOR MY OWN DAMN GOOD.
Because of my past mistakes in choosing the ones I love.
I know in myself that I HAVE LEARNED from those “MISTAKES” and ever since I broke up with the last one, I’ve sworn to myself that
I WILL LOVE SOMEBODY WHO WILL PROVE TO ME THAT HE WORTHY. I WILL LOVE SOMEBODY WHO WILL RECOGNIZE MY WORTH. I WILL LOVE SOMEBODY WHO IS BRAVE ENOUGH TO FIGHT FOR ME.
Yes that is my conviction in LOVE believe it or not. Why? Because I’ve been very badly hurt already therefore I have to put up walls, I have to really GUARD MY HEART this time.
BUT THEN
There comes this guy who just manages to EASILY BREAK my CONVICTIONS. That ONE GUY who just manages to COME THROUGH the WALLS I CREATE. That ONE person who can just EFFORTLESSLY go through my so-called “GUARDED” HEART.
It’s starting to scare me, confuse me, paralyze me.
And I BET, the moment I see him face to face all over again tomorrow.
MY WALLS WILL COME TUMBLING DOWN ALL OVER AGAIN. MY GUARDED HEART IS GUARDED NO MORE..just like that.
My only EXCEPTION. The only one who can put me back together while breaking me down.
The only one who can make my heart happy while breaking it at the same time.
The other girl should just steal him away at his birthday..it would be easier for me to walk away for that reason. The pain would make it easier..it should..i don’t know. I DON’T KNOW.
